Sorry for late answer. Primaly I use as much of the E23's wiring as possible. But all wiring from after the distributionbox and to/from (Thru connector C101) the engine is in this case M60. The M60 has already an integrated fuelpump relay, so you have to cut away the old E23's system. The only supply TO the engine from the distributionbox is:

- Constant positive from battery (Thick massive red cable)
- Ignition 2 (Hot in run & start)
- Start

The rest of the cabels is just return cabels as:

- Oilpressure
- Oiltemp
- Watertemp
- Charging lamp
- Current for the fuelpump

I'll post some photos and sheets later on how I have done it. In this way one avoids speedo & ABS-challenges. Again ... this is just a temporarily solution. l'll probably end up as You think. Replace everything (or as much as possible with E38). But that is another year in the future.
