Hello Dutchman,
just to ensure we are on the same page, did you push the engine to 6000 RPM ? Because you're writing "when it reaches 5000/6000 RPM or so". The part "or so" sounds to me that you're afraid to really check it out. The V12 RPM limit is 6000 RPM, means no risk to blow up the engine. Until the engine doesn't run into it's own limit: "Step on it !".
When you realize that the engine reached the limit and the gearbox isn't shifting up, than you have an issue.
But don't try this for several minutes ok ?
Cheers Guido

Hello Deutche Freunden!
My name is Bart, i am from Holland (Tilburg) and my Deutch is not so good, so i try to ask you a question in Englisch. Sorry for that !!...
I own a BMW 7-series 750i E32 from modelyear 1993. I have a problem with the automatic gearbox and i hope you know what the problem is.
When i driver normal, nothing is wrong, the gearbox changes gears smoothly.
But when i hit the Kick-Down, the gearbox changes a gear down, wich i think is good, but when it reaches 5000/6000 RPM or so it does NOT shift UP untill i release the Kick-Down, then it chages the gear up correctly?!
Can someone help me please
