E32 Euro 1-2-3
Hi guys, I am from Belarus, in my country we had no problems about using a car with mark euro 1-2-3(exhaust cleanliness), but I heard that in Europ and especially German you have to have on your cars "clean exhaust", but our lovely cars e32 have only euro1 mark, how do you getting your TUV? Do you have special things for convert pollutions at euro 1 to euro 2 or Higher
Best Regards

TÜV is not the problem, doesn't matter what euro class. You don't need to upgrade anything to get TÜV. Only to save money for the tax. The tax we have to pay is a combination of the euro class and the engine size (ccm)!
In some citys older cars with Euro 1-3 are not allowed to drive in anymore.
The situation changes when the car is more then 30 years old and has a historic license plate, called "H-Zulassung". These cars are still allowed in all citys...
An E32 can be upgraded from Euro 1 to Euro 2 with a TwinTec oder GAT "Kaltlaufregler". It's a valve that increases the amount of fresh air in the intake manifold during the warmup process. This modification save 50% tax per year...
