Bluetooth & Nokia 8800

first of all i appologize in advance for writing in english. i am in the very early process of learning german (was in munich and hamburg before).

i wanted to know if anybody here had a chance to pair nokia 8800/8801 with their bluetooth in 750?

what about ericsson K750 or Nokia 6230i?

Hi,

I got a friend that uses both the 6230i and the 8801 with the 7 Series and they work. But be reminded that the 8800 doesnt work in the States, only the 8801 does.

yes, 8801 is GSM 850/1800/1900 MHz while 8800 is GSM 900/1800/1900 MHz and sadly we need 850 here in USA.

i am debating between 6230i and 8801

do you guys have ability to hookup iPod in germany yet?

No, not in the latest models anyway. Denison's iPod adaptor for the E65 now seems to be postponed until the end of the year. Not that I believe them - they've postponed this date numerous times already. The only way to do it as of yet is either through an fm transmitter or through a different Denison adaptor that hooks the ipod into the antenna signal. Both solutions have their drawbacks: the first one to me has fairly mediocre sound quality, the latter one kills the TMC signal which in many European countries (dunno 'bout god's own country :-) carries traffic (jam) data to be fed into the nav system. Bottomline: we have to wait
