Complains about E65 design and looks in this forum??

I´ve read this forum for months now and I don´t understand the critics concerning new 7 series desing and looks!! Like BMW- Bangle muss weg!!!

I´ve had a nice car´s before like W220 S Mercedes, but when I bought my first BMW 7 series this January I have realized what´s the meaning a classy and well design modern car..that E65!

And if I wouldn´t belive myself, I just can listen the positive comments I´m getting everyday in the city when driving my BMW. That didn´t happen when I had MB S class..nice car too but little bit too conservative.

What a great car...I´m happy with it and wouldn´t change it.
By the way E 38 looks boring in my eyes..I haven´t considered buying that model before.and I don´t think I´m the only new owner for BMW E 65 who thinks so...that means new type of customer for BMW...and growing business...

I am driving the boring one. Would you be so kind and tell me, from which country do you come. Maybe this is already the solution of the discussion...other cultures (or countries) can cause other opinions ;-)

E65 looks so boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooring, i couldn´t believe my eyes when i saw him first :( :(

Well,

i am born in Finnland and i know, that there an E65 is a lot more expensive
than here in Germany. Of course the people turn their heads after that and
you get compliments about a nice car.
Still remembering the 190E by Mercedes - when it was sold the first time in
Finnland it was about 3 times the costs as here. Don't know how much
difference it is now today with the E65.

Anyway... everyone may have his / her / its opinion - it's the same with
arts. I personally don't like 12-tone music, others love it.
That's the way...
On the other hand i've got to admit, that i can adapt to the E65 design more
and more, which means, that i someday might also get me one.

I can understand your opinions very well because I loved my E38 740i very very much and I was disappointed when
I saw the E65 the first time. I drove my 740i 7 years.
Since two months I have a 745i because the offer was too good :
1 year old, 23000km, list price 105.000€ now: 58.000€.
Everything is included e.g. velocity control, refrigerator etc.

The car is excellent. Some days I drove both cars and I have to say the difference is huge.
I lost no tear when I sold my old 745i.

The silly thing is that I like the E65 now so much that I find even the shape of the car beautiful.
The only minor problem is that if I look back for parking the view is slightly hidden by the headrest.
Because I have PDC this is easy to handle and the headrest is so soft and comfortable that I have
the feeling to drive in my living room chair.

I can recommend the E65 745i to all lovers of E38.
