...if you are having difficulty lifting the seat...follow the extended instructions in pic below...get in and place your back against the upper seat while straddling the tranny hump with your butt raised just above the seat...place hands in the appropriate place and pull upward sharply on the seat to release it from the clips...then carefully exit the car so that you can remove the seats bottom cushion.
If you are replacing your battery...please remember you need to get a battery that is vented...if not...your battery can explode and you really don't want to deal with that. If all you need is a jump...remember that there are auxillary remote jump locations under the hood...this way you don't have to lift the seat to jump start your car. (instructions are in your owners manual.)
