Why wont they build another L7?

I find that the L7 is the absolute top BMW 7er, but why wont the build more of them?

There was a white 2000 L7 for sale in Kassel at

mobile.de - Deutschlands größter Fahrzeugmarkt. Suchen, kaufen oder verkaufen Sie Neu- und Gebrauchtwagen.
Does someone know who bought it?
Can you search for licensenumber in Germany to see who owns the car?

In Germany u can't search for license plate numbers except the government.

So you can´t find out who owns them?

In Sweden we only type in a textmessage on our cell and then it pops up 1 sec later. Name, adres, status of the car, everything.

Wasn´t this one for sale last year in oktober I think?

In Germany u can't find out who's the owner of a car 'cause of the "privacy".
Hmm, I think it's better this way. I don't want to meet someone, who's pissed due to agressive driving, in front of my house...

There would be a group of buyers for this car - Arabia, Russia, ...
In fact, to build this car won't be cost-effective/profitable.

Zurück zum Thema..

Naja viel läuft in der Autoindustrie ja auch über Markenbildung. Unter dem Gesichtspunkt müsste sich BMW vll. sogar wieder einen L7 leisten. Mercedes leistet sich ja auch einen Pullmann. Ist doch wie beim Veyron, der war auch nie profitabel aber VW gönnt ihn sich halt auch als Technologieträger.
