Elektrik: TV - have you seen this before?

There's an interesting item sold on ebay - It looks like a pass-thru cable to enable TV. This looks interesting because it would be very easy to install, huh?

hello prepaa,
yes it works... but if you have MK1 or MK2 you can have it cheaper: You can activate your Navi with onboard-switching. It also can be, that the onboard-activation works also for MK3. For MK4 it definitely does not work. Herefore you need this interface-cable. You will find the manuals for onboard switching at "Tips & Tricks".

mine is MK3 and i don't think it can be unlocked. Or it probably can, but it is unknown ;-)

Unlock Mk3? No problem...

buy it, install it (5min.) and look at TV....

or install a mk2, unlock it, install the mk3 again and it stays unlocked. so did mine.
