Hallo Leute,
@Charles:
no prob to communicate in English here, all Germans are very fluent in English -except a few ones -
So instead of using the online translation services, better talk in your native language.

92 BMW 750iL Sedan 100k Original Miles! - $5999

Maybe in USA this price is nice. But I just talked with a friend in Japan this evening and we inspected a 1992 750iL with 86.000 km, with 17" wheels, front spoiler, rear spoiler and side .. etc.
240.000 Yen, which is roughly US 2150.00
or EURO 1.530.00

Es tut mier leid...!
I am actually just starting my second year of college German language courses, I am trying to speak as much as I can in German without translating in my dictionary, but I know that I will improve throughout the next few months due to me (finally) being able to take my second year course. :-D
I know this sounds absurd Erich, but how much does it cost to import, and how much extra to do the required conversions to be able to register the car here...? My first assumption is that it would not be worth it, or be a huge hassle...(As you stated about shipping parts)
Danke!
.Charles

so you are doing your second year in German lessons now? So read always the 7-Forum, that helps.
To import a car into the US is very costly, forget about that.
That is why all the good low mile E32 from Japan are exported mainly to Canada.

Hallo Erich,
